Have you found the love of your life the apple of your eye prehaps? Well these are somethings you should do to prepare yourself before planning the wedding. It will help you save alot of time and money.

1.BUDGET

Plan how much you would like to spend on your wedding. Weddings can get costly knowing how much you have to spend will help protrect you from going bankrupt after your wedding but ensure you get everything you desire for your big day! Remember a wedding should be all about you so plan your budget according to how Simple or Fancy you would like yours to be.
2.TIME

You need to give yourself time to budget and time to plan. I recommend at least 6 months to a year minimum for planning time. Anything less than that and you can create a very stressful planning situation for yourself. It takes time to meet with vendors, plan times, dates, secure a venue, manage décor and design dealing with colors finding a dress and dealing with the bridesmaids. If you are easily stressed I suggest a wedding planner to help you deal with the parts that become too stressful or help you plan from beginning to end.
3.COUNSELING

Why counseling you say? Because of the high divorce rate(3.6 per 1,000 population) It is wise to get to know things about the man you would like to marry that you perhaps would not find out on dates. It may be helpful to know about past relationships and things that happened in their lives to determine if marriage is the best thing for you two. Getting to really know someone is always helpful and healthy in any relationship. Does counseling always help “No” but it is a start.
4. COMMUNICATION

If there are things that need to be squared away between you and your fiancé the most efficient time would be before Wedding Planning would be the most efficient time. Such as where are we living once we get married? (I don’t think your mother wants husband and wife moving in) If you have children what are the children calling you what school will they attend. Tying up loose ends will help you be able to focus only on the Wedding Planning process and not the small things.
5. FINALLY START THE PLANNING PROCESS

Start the Planning process if you have done these things or skipped a few and are ready to plan. Great! Congratulations! Look out for my next Blog on beginning Wedding Planning.
